When is an employee not an employee?

Mike Pewton, the CEO of ShareReporter, attended the November 2022 Pan European event of the Global Equity Organization in London. Mike spoke on a couple of panels, including one on compliance issues for companies who employee people using global employment platforms such as that of our client and platform partner, OysterHR. This has become something of a hot topic in recent times, as more and more companies, even start-ups, use such companies to ease the administrative burden of global employment.
